1. About RideSure

RideSure is a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace that connects vehicle owners ("Listers") with individuals seeking to rent a vehicle (“Renters"). We provide the platform to facilitate these transactions but are not a party to the rental agreement between Listers and Renters.

2. Eligibility

To use RideSure, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old (or as required by local law)

• Have a valid government-issued ID

• Agree to and comply with these Terms and our policies

• For Renters: Hold a valid driver's license with appropriate qualifications

• For Listers: Own the vehicle or have legal authority to list it for rental

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to access most features of the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any misuse or violation of these Terms.

4. Listing Vehicles (For Listers)

When you list a vehicle on RideSure, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your vehicle

• Maintain the vehicle in good working condition

• Ensure the vehicle is insured, registered, and roadworthy

• Honor bookings unless there are valid safety or legal concerns

You set the pricing, availability, and terms within RideSure's policies. We may adjust pricing guidelines to ensure fairness and consistency.

5. Booking Vehicles (For Renters)

By booking a vehicle, you agree to:

• Use the car responsibly and lawfully

• Return the car on time and in the same condition as received (except for reasonable wear and tear)

• Pay all fees, including rental, fuel, late return, or damage charges

• Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines

6. Payments and Fees

Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment provider. Listers receive earnings minus RideSure's commission. Full fee breakdowns are available on your dashboard.

Additional fees may apply for:

• Late returns

• Vehicle damage

• Fuel replacement

• Cleaning (if returned excessively dirty)

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Renters: You may cancel up to 24 hours before the booking starts for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a partial fee.

Listers: Frequent cancellations may lead to account penalties or suspension. Check our Cancellation Policy for more.

8. Insurance and Liability

RideSure offers optional protection plans for both Renters and Listers, subject to eligibility and local regulations. However, users are ultimately responsible for ensuring their own insurance coverage complies with legal requirements.

RideSure is not liable for:

• Damages not covered by insurance

• Personal injuries

• Loss of items or theft

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• List or rent vehicles for illegal activity

• Use another person's account without permission

• Provide false information

• Tamper with, damage, or misuse vehicles

• Circumvent RideSure's fee system or communicate off-platform to avoid fees

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, unsafe behavior, fraud, or misuse of the platform.

11. Modifications

RideSure may update these Terms periodically. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notices. Continued use after updates means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing Law
